Hi everyone

New member here

I'm a few months behind on my build, and today had issue 53 in my hands.

Whilst the blue shoulder sensor seems to be working correctly (from what I can ascertain), the green foot sensor isn't.

The green led just stays permanently on. Could this likely point to a faulty test board, or could it possibly be the foot sensor board itself?

It seems a few people have come across this problem, however I was unable to find an solution to my problem.

Any assistance or advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Im glad to see that I am not the only one having this very same problem. Is replacing the test board the only possible solution and will we be charged for the replacement board?

Thanks, I will. However, last night I was watching one of the MS You Tube videos and could not help but notice that video #53 (I think) focused on the removal of the left foot and sensor board and the addition of a postage size clear piece of plastic. I had noticed that this was included in the parts pack but did not see any reference to it in the instructions. I added this clear plastic piece and tightened up the foot once again. Does this serve any purpose? Just curious?

The spacer was provided to reset the height of the sensor to its optimum position you may now find that by rerunning the test all may work as it should now. The right leg sensor housing has already been adjusted and will not need the plastic spacer.

Thanks for the fast reply. I had a feeling that this was a "mid course correction". Life has meaning once again.

Hi. I have just received my replacement test board and still have thn same issue. Could I be unlucky and have 2 faulty boards or is there something else I should look at? The blue shoulder sensor is fine as before but the green light stays on permanently.

It may be the sensor itself that is faulty so ask C/S for a replacement.

You may want to take a look at this as the sensors are sensitive to light, I had a similar problem
