It won’t be long before Online retailers are hit with a sales tax as already there is proposal for retailers with more than 20% of sales online, to pay a 20% tax on those sales. Which in turn might force existing retailers to invest in the high street but for sure would increase their online prices by 20%.

I can almost envisage a future not too far off where Amazon is the ONLY retailer.
Already, huge numbers of businesses sell through Amazon.

How long before a few major retailers such as M&S an others jump aboard and drop shops of their own?
When they do, more will follow.
