Hello John.
Looking really good although for me personally, too many decals all over the interior.
However, it does add colour and give different things to look at so keep it all going.
One day, I'll catch up with my build.BigGrin

All looking good John.
Just wondering though - is the dash vent too close to the front edge of the dash?
Google images make it look much nearer the screen.
Could well be I'm wrong though as there were lots of variants in these cars.

you may well be 100% correct roy matt black but this was the only flat area that the dashboard vent could be mounted evenly all round without any surfaces or edges being uneven or lifting
It required 2 part liquid adhesive + rapid set chemical based hardener to get it to bond to milled out area that was done by a dremell
Acid etched primer was applied so it could accept enamel paint
Then painted in humbrol satin black enamel

Looking good John! Where did you get the dash vent from if you don't mind me asking?

I'm also intrigued to see if your steering still works well if the conduit you have used will be flexible enough or not. I've bought some jumbo straws to replace mine following on from mr_frogs idea he posted the other day.ive also got some metal caps coming for parts in the engine bay.

I’m absolutely loving this build John, can you please tell me how you printed your stickers. What you used, how you designed etc. Whenever you look a car build diary you always see little personal touches and modifications going on. Fantastic stuff, keep up the good work Drool

Brake cooling conduit was purchased of eBay
I ordered a 1 meter length of 9mm internal diameter of non split black flexible conduit
NOTE IT MUST BE NON SPLIT
cost is no more than £3:00
hope this helps you all out
Fits like a glove and is as flexible as a elastic band
Thanks
John
