rear wheel spinner
that does not fit
using a fine file remove all chrome around the entry off wheel spinner
when the chrome is removed it has a black plastic colour underneath
you can test fit at this stage and you will see it fits perfectly
many thanks to the forum members roy, mark & carl for highlighting this problem
more posts and updates will be posted soon
thanks

Issue 16 & 17 have arrived
My only instruction is assemble without rear wheels fitted
Be very careful when assembling the suspension unit and suspension spring
Things I had to do
Rear wheel spinner for the other side needed filing to make it fit correctly
Rear engine mounts needed filing at entry point to cross member beam
This was temporary installed and secured in place with FP02 screws at fronts points on engine cross member beam and on the rear engine mounts

Only painting and filling was
Rear caliper pistons done in titan gold
Cross member beam mounting screw hole filled with humbrol model filler
Sanded smooth
Painted in flat aluminum
Now weighs in at 3.841kg
More updates will be posted soon
Thanks

It indeed was Mr Frog who raised this issue with the rear spinner.
All I did was acknowledge it and pass the info to senior admin for DeAg to look at...

Roy.

ISSUE 18 TURNED UP
engine crank case and sump cover are very rough casting and require lots of filing and filling with model filler
2 x crankcase screw holes filled
lower bottom half painted in flat aluminum
top of crank case painted in flat blue
fan belt painted in flat black
all pulley fronts done in chrome metallic pen
oil cap painted in flat black
chrome metallic pen used on the valve cover circles
overall standard quality of these parts in issue 18 i thought personally did not meet the required high standard but still gets sent out to subscribers
lots of additional work that is unnecessary

John - what material is the engine block and pipe made of? All metal or is the pipe plastic?

Block and sump are bad castings of alloy metal
Pipework and pulley set is done plastic
Rear brake line tubes are in black plastic tubing
The block and sump are seriously rough and in my honest opinion
Is a major case off get parts out with no quality control measures implemented
Subscribers suffer due to unnecessary work due to bad quality workmanship
These required a lot of filing and model filler and sanding to bring to a standard that is acceptable
Then painting
Front of pulleys using metallic chrome pen
Water pump pulley housing painted blue
Silicone Hose joint painted blue
Pulley belt painted Matt black
Lower half of crank case painted flat aluminum
Upper half of crank case painted flat blue
Valve cover circles done using chrome metallic pen
Oil filler cap painted in flat black
Hope this helps everyone
New order placed with RB Motion for:-
2 x 1:8 scale spark plugs
2 x 1:8 scale black angled spark plug boots
2 x 1:8 scale black straight spark plug boots
1 x 1:8 scale black straight distributor cap boots
2 x 1:8 scale valve stems

New order with eBay
5 mtrs of 1mm CSA orange insulated single cable to be used as spark plug leads
1 x pack of 2.5mm orange cable ties
1 x roll of 5mtr long orange 3mm wide pin stripe tape

more updates will be posted soon when new pdf and parts become available
Thanks

Although this is my first posting I have been following with interest many different forums over the years but I am intrigued to know how you received a pack when the system is in lockdown.
