This must have been one of the best models I have seen in a verry long time but I was not aware that there will be 100 issues to complete the model. I just made the calculations and this model will cost more than R12000 to complete or is there something I miss.

I'm not sure of the exact price in South Africa but models are not cheap, but then again they are very large and very detailed models which come with detailed step by step instructions to ensure everyone that builds it is able to do so to a very high standard. There is also the fact that you get a weekly magazine full of interesting articles along with the model. It is broken down into 100 weekly issues to make it much more manageable.

Hi Vickas, welcome to the forum. Am sure you won't regret buying into this kit and the fact you're purchasing it over a period of time makes it very affordable. Hope you enjoy your time with us...

Hi Vikus, welcome to the forum.
You're right about the total cost but... these are world class model kits and the end result is something to be proud of. It will also be spread out over a couple of years.
I had the same feeling when I started the Mclaren MP4/23 build and now 4 years later I'm doing the Senna 4/4 ! I'm sure you won't regret it.
Good luck.
Malc.

Thanks guys3

I am on issue 27 now.
I like the mods that have been done seen in some pictures but plan on keeping mine the way it is.

I don't have any problems with the build but can really needs some advice on the where to buy the best Screwdriver set(tools) for the build or if there is a shop specialize in these types of builds.

I tried Midas and builders warehouse but could find a correct set.

Thanks in AdvanceBigGrin
