Watch this Model Space for more details of this 1/24 scale model as they become available. Cool Drool

The Mikoyan MiG-29 Fulcrum is a twin-engine jet fighter aircraft designed in the Soviet Union. Developed by the Mikoyan design bureau as an air superiority fighter during the 1970's, the MiG-29, along with the larger Sukhoi Su-27, was developed to counter new US fighters such as the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle and the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon. The MiG-29 entered service with the Soviet Air Forces in 1982.

While originally oriented towards combat against any enemy aircraft, many MiG-29's have been furnished as multirole fighters capable of performing a number of different operations, and are commonly outfitted to use a range of air-to-surface armaments and precision munitions. The MiG-29 has been manufactured in several major variants, including the multirole Mikoyan MiG-29M and the navalised Mikoyan MiG-29K; the most advanced member of the family to date is the Mikoyan MiG-35. Later models frequently feature improved engines, glass cockpits with HOTAS-compatible flight controls, modern radar and IRST sensors, and considerably increased fuel capacity; some aircraft have also been equipped for aerial refuelling.

Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the militaries of a number of former Soviet republics have continued to operate the MiG-29, the largest of which is the Russian Air Force. The Russian Air Force wanted to upgrade its existing fleet to the modernised MiG-29SMT configuration, but financial difficulties have limited deliveries. The MiG-29 has also been a popular export aircraft; more than 30 nations either operate or have operated the aircraft to date, India being one of the largest export operators of the type. In 2013 the MiG-29 was still in production by Mikoyan, a subsidiary of United Aircraft Corporation since 2006.

The first prototype MiG-29 is on display at the Central Air Force Museum in Monino.

Airworthy examples
MiG-29UB owned by the Flying Heritage Collection in Everett, Washington. The aircraft was obtained from Eastern Europe in early 2009. The aircraft has an FAA approved maintenance program and is flyable.

MiG-29UB owned by Air USA and located at the Quincy Regional Airport in Quincy, Illinois. This aircraft was purchased by Don Kirlin from Kyrgyzstan. It is available for contract training and flight testing.

Two MiG-29UB's in flying condition were offered for sale from Eastern Europe in spring 2009. These aircraft come from the same source as the flyable aircraft owned by the Historic Flight Foundation.

It is something I will buy immediately!!!

I have two questions about this if anyone knows.

1. Will it get a test release or the decision for a national launch has already made?

2. Is it somewhat similar to the F-14 Tomcat released in France from an other partworks company? Or something completely different regarding the materials/mechanisms and the building process?

All is a guarded until ready - to safeguard competitor prying eyes but it does look exciting.

And you are doing very well! Cool Good luck with the development process.

Definately no one can compare to the quality of Deagostini/ModelSpace, so I'm sure this will be a great model and a great hit!
