Front end is all now fully built
Points to note at this stage
When building up suspension do this with the wheel removed it is so much easier
Fitting tyres submerse in boiling water for 5 minutes and they become far more easier to install and fit
Just a update the 9mm non split convoluted conduit I used for front brake cooling tube fits a lot better than the supplied part
Radiator mounting on the right hand side opposite to oil cooler and has been filled in with Humbrol model filler, sanded smooth and painted in Tamiya xf-16 flat aluminium
Outside area of brake cooling intake has been painted in Humbrol satin black enamel to give the all black effect all over but the inside remains in flat aluminium finish
I purchased additional parts to fit for spare wheel , 1 x chrome screw and 3 pointed star wheel spinner for the spare wheel
Oil cooler radiator grille custom cut out of 1mm micro mesh to give radiator grille image
Now looking forward to my next issue number 16
Additional decals have been ordered and awaiting on when they can be collected
More posts will be posted soon
Many thanks

Mine are busy exploring the ISC in New York. They’ve been there a week, so hopefully, they are all ready to resume their holiday out west.

I asked about the build guide again today. Spain (not Italy, as previously mentioned) does the translating, and they are obviously running behind.

The picture is a bit too small to see the handbrake John but you said you'd fitted it below the steering wheel...?

On the GT40 the handbrake was over on the passenger side beneath the dash with the 'handle' pointing to the passenger door.

Is that how you've fitted yours?

All looking really good.BigGrin
