Hi all,

I thought that as I was now officially a Zero builder, it would be a good idea to create a central point for gathering information that would help us all in our builds of this fantastic model. Pretty much the same thing as my 'Cyber Garage' in the 'Motor Modeller' section but this will be where members can drop links to useful websites about the Zero and Japanese Aviation and I will then add them to an A-Z Index for quick and easy access in one place ??

I will do this slightly different to the car thread and have sub sections for various aspects, rather than lump them all into one index. That way it will be easier to find the info you need.

BigGrin Glad you like it Jase and feel free to add any info you find on the net, etc.?? Just post it into the thread and I will add it to the index in post #1 as soon as I find it.

I did the 'Cyber Garage' A-Z Index in 'Motor Modeller' as a sort of library for car modelling, but it is just one long index. I think I may change it when I get time to the same format as this one, with sub sections so that things are easier to find. Don't have a lot of spare time at the moment though, but I will change it.

Would be a good idea to do these for future builds as you say, but will have to see what models come up. I am not really interested in doing the ships side of things as I don't know enough about it, so maybe one of the guys from that side could do one for the forum ?? I'm more into cars and planes.

Cheers mate ... Kev

Ahh had not seen the car one as I am only interested in things with guns on them!

BigGrin Hi Jase,

I think that James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 had guns on it ... is that enough to turn you into a car modeller ?? LOL LOL

The 'Cyber Garage' can be found in the Motor Modeller forum under the heading 'General Model Car & Bike Chat' and there are some very nice websites in there.

BigGrin Thanks Jase added to the A-Z Index in post #1.

Unfortunately, the first link doesn't seem to work - just keeps returning "web page cannot be found" for some reason. The 'fiddlers green' paper model one is in the 'Other Models' section and the last is in the 'Walkaround' section. The third link you gave is actually a photo of an American 'P-51 Mustang' cockpit, so I haven't included it in the index as this Library is intended as reference for the Zero. Hope you understand ??

BigGrin Good morning Jase,

I would prefer NOT to have loads of PM's to sort through as I just don't have the time and it is quicker and easier for me just to do it all on this thread otherwise I have to keep minimising and maximising pages to do the transferring of links !! I understand your thinking about the ever growing list of posts on this thread but that is the whole idea of putting the A-Z Index in post #1. Members post me their links and I edit them into post #1 so that they are all in the same place and members don't have to go searching through pages and pages of posts to find what they want ?? They just need to visit post #1 each time, look in the relevant sub section of the Index and hey presto, quick and easy. The index will always be in post #1 of page #1 so everybody will know where to look. Also when a member drops a link in a post I make a point of replying and stating that it has been added to post #1 ?? Hope that explains why I do it this way ??
