We have obtained a limited number of the operable Zero engine as per this video clip..

http://www.youtube.com/w...?v=4tkJ5Lg16rE&lr=1

From start-up to idling and full speed, the sound, and propeller rotates as if were real life. The authentic engine sound of the Sakae 21 engine has been digitally reproduced, from a Zero fighter that carries the only surviving original Sakae 21 radial engine.

A reminder of this clip..

The cost is £100 including p&p

yes very interested will it fit on the model or will it be a different engine. Any idea if there is going to be another fantastic kit like this.

Yes it fits on the model as the video's show.. you can then have the PW engine as a diorama set piece..

Compare the model engine to the real thing, its identical, what a super job they have done. BigGrin

By the way the Zero in this clip has the original engine its not a re-fit.

What a smasher the model and engine are! Congratulations DeAgostini you are to be commended for a world class model.

I can't see anyone else ever producing a kit of the Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero to this standard. This is the model that all others will be judged against!

What do you guys think? Drool Drool Drool
